Megan Ilig graduated Cum Laude from Juniata College with a Bachelor of Arts in Gender Studies. She studied abroad at Madras Christian College’s Department of Social Work in Chennai, India, where she took graduate level courses and worked closely with a local NGO to support survivors of domestic violence and human trafficking. Watching her mother’s dedicated work in the field of domestic violence counseling for decades gave Megan a life-long passion for studying gender and how it affects nearly all facets of a person’s life.
