Professionally

Gabrielle graduated from the University of Connecticut where she earned a degree in Communications and minored in Business Fundamentals. She was an active member of the professional business fraternity, Delta Sigma Pi. Before starting at Francis Financial, Gabrielle gained experience as an intern for Feeding Children Everywhere during her senior year of college and she also spent a summer working for the city of New York at their Office of Emergency Management in Brooklyn. Gabrielle currently serves as a NextGen Board co-chair and a member of the Advisory Council for FamilyKind, a non-profit that helps under-served children, parents, and couples cope with separation and divorce, where she assists them in furthering their mission. Gabrielle combined her love of traveling with her passion of volunteering spending two summers abroad. She spent the summer of 2012 in London, England coaching basketball for a local school’s youth center and the next summer working on a wildlife park in the outskirts of Sydney, Australia. Gabrielle also was selected to join the UConn Empower group to travel to northern India to implement sustainable projects at an impoverished school.

Personally

Gabrielle's vibrant and competitive nature fuels her relentless pursuit of engaging in every competition that comes her way. With a passion for sports and adventure, she has ventured into snowboarding, zip-lining, surfing, snorkeling, and even skydiving, across the world. In both her personal and professional life, Gabrielle is always ready to take on any challenge and motivates everyone around her to do their best with her infectious enthusiasm.

Currently residing in upstate New York, Gabrielle shares her home with her husband, Matt, their new baby girl, Olivia, and their dachshund, Shay. Brigantine Island in New Jersey holds a special place in her heart, where she spends quality time with her family each summer. Gabrielle also reigns as our esteemed aficionado of television and movies, maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of the latest trends in pop culture. If given the opportunity to escape to any corner of the globe, Gabrielle would find herself drawn back to the idyllic shores of Kauai in Hawaii with a shaved ice in hand.

Purpose

My parents committed their careers to helping others and inspired me to mirror that compassion in my own career path. As a teacher, my mother raised me to understand the value of a dollar and the importance of my own financial education as a young woman. I’m so proud to play a role in empowering and educating women to achieve their own financial independence.
