Our Team
Megan Illig
Client Service Associate
(She/Her)
Megan Ilig joins Francis Financial as an important member of the Client Service Team. She provides operational support and day-to-day maintenance of client accounts while assisting the advisory team on all client relationships. She and her team leverages our technology and custodial relationships to ensure a smooth administrative process and enjoyable client experience.
Professionally
Megan graduated Cum Laude from Juniata College with a Bachelor of Arts in Gender Studies. Megan studied abroad at Madras Christian College’s Department of Social Work in Chennai, India, where she took graduate level courses and worked closely with a local NGO to support survivors of domestic violence and human trafficking. Before coming to Francis Financial, she worked as an optometric assistant at Clinton Family Eyecare Center where she enjoyed helping patients see and look their best, and in 2019, earned a NCCA accredited Certified Paraoptometric (CPO™) designation from the American Optometric Association’s Commission on Paraoptometric Certification.
Personally
Megan is an animal lover and enjoys spending time with her rescue dog Cirilla and three cats, as well as fostering dogs to get them ready for their furever homes. When not working her dream job, you can find Megan reading a novel from her local library, listening to a true crime podcast, or curling up to watch a scary movie with her husband. And if you ever need to pick her out of a crowd, the cat-eye glasses and red lipstick should point you in the right direction!
Purpose
Watching her mother’s dedicated work in the field of domestic violence counseling for decades gave Megan a life-long passion for studying gender and how it affects nearly all facets of a person’s life. She is thrilled to be able to continue this journey with Francis Financial, learning all she can about the field of finance while ensuring clients have a smooth and rewarding experience.
