Companies that prioritize ESG impact are increasingly receiving attention and investment, with $50 trillion in assets projected by 2025. The most common way to invest in ESG is through the use of mutual funds and ETFs, however personalized indexing has recently emerged which allows investors to choose specific companies in which to invest. Various companies are demonstrating how ESG investing can create change, including J.B. Hunt Transport Services, which aims to reduce carbon emission intensity by 32% by 2034.
Companies are increasingly considering ESG priorities when making decisions, such as mergers and acquisitions. Additionally, a growing number of corporations are issuing impact bonds to meet ESG goals. However, with so many ESG investment options available, it is recommended to work with a financial advisor who is well-versed in ESG investing.
