Natalie Colley - CFP®, CDFA®
Natalie, a Lead Advisor with the firm, works directly with clients to help them reach their financial goals. Specifically, she partners with clients on topics ranging from retirement planning, education funding, charitable giving, insurance preparedness and portfolio management. Natalie’s passion for personal finance began at a young age, and she opened her first Roth IRA at age 19 and convinced her college roommate to do the same.
Natalie received a Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering at the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB). On the West Coast, she worked as an engineering consultant on large capital projects at pharmaceutical companies such as Genentech/Roche, Bayer, Novartis, and BioMarin, to name a few. Natalie moved to New York City in 2013 to work as an engineer at Perrigo, the world’s largest manufacturer of store-brand pharmaceutical products. After seven years as an engineer, she realized that her passion for finance overshadowed her engineering career path and decided to make the switch. Natalie passed the Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) exam in July 2017, obtained the Certified Divorce Financial Analyst® (CDFA®) designation in June 2019, and is continually working to deepen her knowledge in the profession. Natalie is a member of the firm’s investment committee and plays a key role in researching and reviewing our portfolio holdings and investment philosophy. She is also a financial contributor to Forbes.com.
